A few months earlier, Google Chrome hit the App Store with a great browsing experience. Since then, Cydia tweaks came to support Chrome. One of these tweaks and probably the most useful one is called Chrome Download Manager. It coasts $3.00 under the ModMyi repo.
Once you enable the tweak from Settings, you can open up Chrome and hold any link that you want to download, and the download option should be there. Click it, and your download should be started. Then you can go to downloads to see your download process or cancel it if you want.
