Swipe to adjust brightness with SwipeBright

SwipeBright is a new jailbreak tweak under the BigBoss repo that allows you to simply swipe your status bar to adjust the brightness. You just swipe to the right to increase the brightness or you can swipe to the left to decrease it.

If you open up the tweak's settings, you will see some options that you can adjust the way you like. Starting from the enable-on-lock-screen button and the activation method and moving to the sensitivity.

The main downside of this tweak is that it coasts $0.99 and it is too much for a simple tweak like that.

Weather widget on your lock-screen. Forecast.

Don't you sometimes wish that there is a short way to know the weather? It's now available with the new jailbreak tweak Forecast. Get it for $0.99 under the ModMyi repo. It requires iOS 5+

ForeCast allows you to have a whether widget on your lock screen instead of the clock. Don't worry, this does not remove the clock. You can still see the time and date on the left side of the screen.

Forecast allows you to set only one city. To select your city, go to your weather application. Place the city you want it to show at the top and you are good to go.

The iPhone 5 2012 Rumors Abstract

We have been hearing the rumors about the next generation iPhone for a long time. Here is the 2012 abstract of these rumors:

Apple may come back to June as the release month.
For those who have been dissatisfied with the iPhone's usual 3.5-inch screen, the next iPhone will mostly get a bigger retina display. A 4.6-inch display is the screen we are talking about. Also, a bigger screen allows a better processor, perhaps A5X.
A new dock will perhaps be equipped with the next iPhone. It might be a smaller dock to make room for the other components.
The next iPhone will be different from the outside as well as the inside. Rumors say that it will have a 4.6' screen with different shape as well as the A5X chip. It may also have a better ram
The iPhone 5 might be made out of liquidmetal.

Shortcuts on your lock-screen with FastLock

FastLock is a new jailbreak tweak that allows you to make a few tasks from you lock-screen as shortcuts. It is free under the BigBoss repo.

This tweak has just like the regular notification style. It is activated when double-tapping the home button. You just swipe to open the thing you want.

There are many things in the list, such as compose tweet, set alarm, write a note and much more. (Picture below)

Hide and show your dock with SwipeDock

Don't you sometimes wish to hide your dock? If you do, then SwipeDock is the perfect tweak to do this for you. Search for it in Cydia under the ModMyi repo.

With SwipeDock, you can simply hide your dock by swiping it with one/two/three fingers. In return, you can show it in the same way.

There are some other options like hiding the dots or make a double row dock. For me I found the double row annoying because the icons on your springboard will shrink.

How to make sites appear in non-mobile version on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Some websites appear in their mobile version. It is sometimes annoying when it doesn't get you all services of the original websites. Here is how to get these websites appear in non-mobile version.

First of all you need to have a jailbroken device. If you are not jailbroken, visit http://guidemyjailbreak.com to learn how to do it.

When you get your device jailbroken, open up Cydia and search for "User Agent Faker". Install it and restart your springboard. This jailbreak tweak is free under he BigBoss repo.

Now you can activate SBSettings and find the UAFaker to enable it and you are good to go.

Post your status to multiple social networks with Fusion

Updating your status on Activator used to be only for Twitter. Not any more, "Fusion" is a new jailbreak tweak that allows you post your status to Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and Myspace using Activator. It is a great way to connect to all social networks at once saving you some time. Get Fusion from Cydia under the BigBoss repo.

Once you get it, open up Fusion's settings and set the activation method for "compose tweet". There are some other things that you change such as the order of these sites. You can also set it for Siri. You can find the information about setting Siri in the tweaks settings.

When you are done with the settings, activate the "compose tweet" however you set it. You can type as a regular tweet. But when you click that button on next to the location button, it shows you the list of your social sites. Tap on each site you want and your post will be on all the sites you checked.

Add Time and Date to Notification Center with NCDate

Another day another notification center tweak and today it is the new widget that adds time and date to your notification center. It is a cool free tweak under the BigBoss repo.

Just like any NC tweak, once you install it, you open up settings and go to notification center and choose where you want to place your new widget.

How to Get Whatsapp on your iPad/iPod Touch?

Whatsapp is currently the most popular chatting application in the market. Probably because it works on every operating system that is out there. It works perfectly on Apple's iOS, Google's Android, Nokia's Symbian and Blackberries. The only problem is that it requires a phone. It needs a SIM card. So it doesn't work on an iPad or an iPod Touch. But here I will show you how to get it to work on these devices. But you will need a jailbroken device.

First, you have to get it to download. Use your computer to download it or use Installous or any other way to install it on your device.

Second, you will have to open up Cydia and search for "Whatspad". It is a free jailbreak tweak under the BigBoss repo that allows Whatsapp to work on iPads or iPods.

Install Whatspad and you are good to go. Open up Whatsapp and it will ask you type your phone number. Type your actual phone number and it will send a text message to your phone telling you the code that you should enter on your iPod/iPad. Type the code on your iDevice and you got your self Whatsapp on iPod/iPad.

Get The Old Camera Button on iOS 5.1 with Redire

Since the iOS 5.1 released, some people did not like the new camera grabber on the lock screen. So if you are not a big fan of this camera grabber, you can download this tweak from Cydia called Redire which basically just gets you back to the iOS 5 camera button style on your lock screen.

As you can see from the picture you have the old camera style on iOS 5.1. If you want this get it from Cydia for free under the BigBoss repo.

Cool way to unlock your device with Stride

Don't you get sick of the same old slide-to-unlock method.
Stride is a hole new way to unlock your device. It is a jailbreak tweak under the BigBoss repo and you can get it for $2.99
Once you get it, you open up the settings to choose the way you want. You basically just draw what you want as a password. But before you get the drawing part you will face the slide-to-unlock again. That is the main downside in my opinion.
To sum up, you will slide to unlock, then you will draw to unlock in the awesome 8-bit style, then you will write your pass code if you enable it.
What if I forgot what to draw? The developer hasn't miss this detail. You can always press the button on the bottom-right of the screen to dismiss the drawing part.

Adjust your slider width using "SliderWidth"

SliderWidth is a new jailbreak tweak under the ModMyi repo that allows you to change the width of your slider.
You can set the slider width as much as you want. You can also set a costume text instead of the regular "slide to unlock", and if you want you can set Apple logo.
Also, SliderWidth has an option of the costume width for the iPad. So this tweak is compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch.

Max Payne to iOS

Last week, Rockstar announced that it would be bringing its popular Max Payne title to Apple's iOS. The game was developed so that it looks like the original Max Payne, the PC/game console version.
